In the center of old town of Nafplion above Syntagma Square is the hotel "Ilion", a traditional 300 year old building, which was the former residence of the first Mayor - Prefect Efthimiopoulos on age Kapodistrias. The "Ilion" was recently restored by its owners, Themistoklis and Mimi Papaioannou, but retained all the traditional elements.
